What workouts do to your skin 

When you work up a sweat, several things happen to your skin:

  • Sweat and dirt can clog pores, leading to breakouts
  • The heat and friction from clothing can cause skin irritation and inflammation
  • Physical activity can deplete your skin’s moisture, resulting in dryness.

  1. At the very least, you should rinse off immediately after exercising to remove built-up sweat, oil and bacteria. This is especially important if you have acne-prone skin.
